MYSTERIES OF ANCIENT CITIES

 

   The bus ride along the Adriatic coast of Montenegro to the ancient cities of Old Bar and Ulcinj. Modern Bar - a port city, with lush Mediterranean vegetation, lush green orchards and olive groves.

   Fortress city of Old Bar is located on a steep, enclosed on three sides by a cliff at the foot of Rumia in 4 km from the coast. Near the fortress grow ancient olive groves. In Mirovice, next to the Old Bar, you can see one of the oldest trees in the world, whose age is 2500 years.

Further, the journey continues to the town of Ulcinj - the southern  city of Montenegro, located 13 km from the Albanian border. A city is rich in history and tradition and very attractive for tourists due east contrast and amazing spirit of these places. The old town is located on the top of the mountain and is a well-preserved fortress. The most famous place in Ulcinj is Great beach with its length about 12 km.
